KP Half Marathon ends in death for runner because no doctor was present

By | June 20, 2012

Lawsuit alleges that a runner collapsed & died at the finish line of the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K Run, because the medical tent was staffed by chiropractors and chiropractic students rather than medical doctors & EMTs, and no defibrillator or ambulance was present.

That’s KP for ya – always trying to save a buck without regard for human life. And guess who gets to pay for the lawyers to defend the lawsuit? Kaiser members!

Read the legal complaint via Kaiser Bad News (PDF).

Yep, that most certainly is their way, isn’t it?

    Cheap, cheap, cheap…

Being cheap, kills, in Kaisers case.

And they are fully aware of why they are being cheap.

Wow…I was just wondering the other day what happened to that disgruntled KP employee who was spamming the organization…then I found this site! Ask and you shall receive!

Wow…I was just wondering why we haven’t received any nasty comments from Kaiser employees in awhile…then lo and behold look what showed up in the moderation queue. Ask and you shall receive!

Nice to see the customary lack of sympathy for the deceased Kaiser victim who is the subject of this post, and for his minor children on whose behalf the lawsuit was filed. I think I’ll drop their attorney a line just in case he can use it.

For your employer: the comment above was posted from a Kaiser facility, IP address 162.119.68.248 at 8:44am Pacific Time, and below is proof from our logs:

PS – I know that KP turns out so many disgruntled folks that it’s difficult to keep track, but this site is administrated by a defrauded former Kaiser member, not employee. Please try to get it right next time.

Well, in that case, I hope you can eventually find some peace. Holding onto constant negativity is bad for one’s health…regardless of who is / was your provider.

    All the best!

    Excellent job Admin.

Keep up the great work exposing these creeps.

We all depend on you and thank God you are looking out for us, because God knows, Kaiser is and was not.

@PDX_j: Awww, you found some sympathy. I’m touched. And you even switched to your mobile internet so as not to make your employer look bad (too late).

I actually do understand your desire to sweep the negativity under the rug. Who could work in a place like that — where people are victimized and never receive so much as an apology in response — without wishing the public won’t find out?

I don’t find speaking out for the victimized to be an even slightly negative endeavor. In fact, I’m quite proud and at peace with it. So please save your sympathy for your next victim.

Thank you John, if that is your real name 😆

It’s a worthy cause and someone has to do it. Do I love hearing about people being harmed by doctors they trust, and then re-victimized by KPs lawyers when they seek compensation? No, of course not, but I will never feel badly for giving victims a voice.

I do wonder when KP employees are going to figure out that one thing I do enjoy very much is receiving critical comments and hate mail, because it proves my point.

And it is quite entertaining to read your very clever, wise, and informed responses to these knuckleheads.

I myself especially love to see those web stats.

Very enlightening to say the least.

Thanks again Admin, you are a lifesaver.

Kaiser Kills. Medical transcribers that are MD’s twisting the truth. Leaving out over 2 years of Medical Records, by design. Sending a woman home with percocet from the emergency room with no films…with a known “benign”brain tumor- died a week later. Refused admission to emergency room 3+ times with strep g in ankle related to flesh eating bacteria. Everyone has a Kaiser story- How could we get a clearing house where 50000 stories of 1=2 pages loaded with facts could be the evidence the feds need? and an impossiblilty for zombie lawyers to defend. Oh yea how to how to be sure Kaiser is not the one offering the service??!!! PS all you sell outs at kaiser Satan loves you!!

PDX: I notice you didn’t put your name. We all did. What does that say? 1. You’re afraid of Kaiser too. Think about that. If Kaiser weren’t a monstrous health care dictatorship, why wouldn’t you be proud to put your name up? 2. “Negativity” is always the cop-out word for people who are never going to answer the questions brought to them. It’s a cheap pot shot. Cheap like Kaiser. Non-communicated like Kaiser. 3. And, by the way, we aren’t “holding on” to negativity. Each week Kaiser produces new negativity in the form of all the deaths it causes. So that, every time I try to forget about the Satanic evil that is Kaiser, they go an kill off another friend of mine, or another relative of mine. 4. When we fought the 2nd world war, we weren’t “holding on to negativity,” we were trying to stop Nazis. And Kaiser is the medical equivalent of Naziism. And oddly, what evil power existed in Germany before the Nazis? THE KAISERS!!! Can’t you see the irony of that? Kaiser is just like Scientology. No amount of evidence moves a Scientologist once they’re in the cult. Oddly, too, because I see a lot of similarities in how both dictatorships, Kaiser and Scientology work. And your kind of response, really, that’s the kind of response Scientology gives when you cross-examine them. They never answer the question, but always try to find a problem with the person asking the question. So this “negativity” quip of yours is the perfect brainwashed cult response. You can’t have objectivity. Your soul is already Kaiser’s.

PDX: So I notice that you pulled the “disgruntled employee” tactic. That’s another one Scientology uses. Each of Scientology’s brainwashed hacks always says that each employee that leaves Scientology and then tells the truth about it is merely a “sore loser,” or a “disgruntled person.” So you’re like all the other North Korea type spokespeople who can’t answer questions, can’t give anything but a hacking, burnt-out old attack technique that all people speaking for evil dictatorships and cultish hellholes use. Kaiser bought your spirit. You can’t speak for yourself. Hey, my Kaiser friends on Facebook usually hide their photos, have anonymous names or can’t friend most people and can’t comment on any thread on medical care. And I know retired Kaiser people, currently working Kaiser people — they all live suppressed lives of quiet desperation, and then, when they can’t wriggle out of it, when they finally confess, 100% of them, without exception, says unequivocally that it was all for the money, all for the bonuses, all to avoid paying malpractice insurance, it was all for the retirement plan. Zero percent of all of them that I’ve known, once they’re free, once they’re out, has anything to say, but, “Thank God That’s OVER!!!” Well, I’m going to make you a prophecy: I have, call it a superstitious feeling, call it a delusion — but I have a prediction there won’t be an organization called Kaiser Permanente one day; and I predict they will be gone in our lifetime. Because at the core, at the headquarters itself, is rot. I know folks who worked right at the top floors of the very heart of that empire; and it’s pure evil. And they said it, not me. Plus, I now know that the upper management is slowly collapsing due to their own cronyism, hiring people who can’t even do their jobs, who can’t even keep their lies straight. Many, many lawyers — in my mind’s eye, I see them coming — it’s just a guess, I suppose. But there will be no defense against them, because Kaiser’s too corrupt to even figure out how to defend itself anymore. I catch them in lies constantly. Even the ex-employees, the few who tried to defend Kaiser; after just even a half hour, they finally admitted it was all bullshit. By the way, and again, I’m not suing Kaiser, but my gut tells me, just a prediction, that someone else will; and when they do, well, that little pension fund that you’re selling you’re counting on — I predict it won’t exist someday. Hope you don’t invest too many more years in them.
